A new school year means new students for us to teach and train. We now have two classrooms upstairs at the bakery to coincide with our work experience and commercial cooking program.
Our bakers have been busy with cookie and muffin orders for school breakfast and snack programs. Some schools have already started their snack fundraisers- muffins, pizza pretzels and bannock are some of the products being used so far for schools to raise money!
We love the way this works - schools buy our products for their fundraisers and the money the bakery makes goes back into our own teaching programs. Now that's baking a better community together!
