Whew! It's been a busy month as we are preparing to showcase the bakery at our grand opening on October 19!
So far, we've added about twenty new products, put out two bread boxes, painted the inside and outside of the bakery, moved in some new furniture, had a sneak peak/taste testing, and added a whole schwack of new bread available in the storefront.
We are also adding to Nestor's famous doughnut selection (made fresh daily and never from frozen dough!) a feature monthly doughnut. This month's doughnut is a pumpkin spice cake doughnut with buttercream icing. Super tasty!
We've also got three young baking apprentices working with us through the Three Sisters Baking Academy. They are perfecting tarts (the raspberry and turtle tarts have become fast favourites!), calzones, and lots of cookie recipes!
We've also got a new cooler with local market favourites - kiebassa, fresh farm eggs, pickles, jam, jellies, homemade noodles... well, why don't you just stop by and see everything yourself!
We're open Monday to Friday from 7am (that's right - stop in for a fresh warm muffin and coffee on your way to work!) until 6 pm (or stop by after work and pick up perogies and cabbage rolls, calzones, pizzas, or fresh bread for supper). Saturdays we are open from 7am to 1 pm ( our hours will be extended as we get closer to Christmas).
